Finance Werkstudent (m/w/d)

As part of Gini’s Finance team, you will play an active role in shaping internal reporting, planning processes, and collaboration with accounting. You'll gain deep insights into the financial operations of a growing tech company and quickly take on responsibility. With your keen eye for numbers and data, you’ll help us further develop our reporting processes and free up space for more strategic topics.

• You prepare monthly internal reports in Excel, including detailed cost analyses
• You collaborate with our Finance Lead to analyze and interpret reports
• You participate in internal meetings with budget owners
• You continuously improve our Excel-based reporting tools, with a particular focus on automation opportunities
• You act as a liaison with accounting to ensure seamless reconciliation between internal reporting and accounting data

• You support our Finance Lead in regular financial planning processes

• You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in a business- or science-related field
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in a similar role, such as a working student position or internship
• You have a strong affinity for numbers and data and are eager to expand your financial skillset
• You possess excellent skills in Google Workspace (Sheets) and/or MS Office (Excel)
• You think analytically and have gained some initial experience in a finance team
• You are motivated to grow in the areas of financial planning, reporting, and controlling

• You are well-organized and communicate confidently in both German and English
