Job Description

The Finance Manager will support our four Boston Stations - NBC10, Telemundo Boston, NECN & NBC Sports Boston.
 

FP&A Responsibilities

• Participate in the annual budgeting and strategic planning process
• Responsible for monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis
• Prepare periodic financial reports evaluating and interpreting the company’s financial performance
• Maintain the company’s current year budgets and forecasts
• Work with operational leaders to improve the operations and business
• Identify and recommend spending and investment alternatives across all operational areas
• Perform ad hoc analyses and support overall finance function
• Assist with expense and capital / fixed asset tracking
• Ad hoc strategic analysis and research

Accounting/Operational  Responsibilities

• Manage all close related activities
• Resolve any accounts payable / purchase order issues identified
• Assist other departments in Pcard and T&L card processes and expense reconciliation
• Review monthly / quarterly accruals
• Prepare account reconciliations for any assigned accounts
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries to SAP as needed
• Extract data for T&E, PCard, mobile phones for audit/review purposes
• Solve operational and business-related financial issues

Qualifications

Additional Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Excel and MS Outlook experience
• 5 - 7 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and / or Payroll Support
