Head of Finance - NORAM
We are looking for our next Head of Finance - NORAM - within our Finance Team. The Head of Finance - NORAM will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and tax, including statutory accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, external audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, taxation, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures for Roquette entities in the US and Canada.

Compensation:
The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $161,818 - $219,010. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee the accounting and tax operations for all Roquette entities in the US and Canada.
Manage and lead the financial accounting process, including statutory financial reporting, tax, and audit.
Implement strong accounting processes and controls to improve efficiency, productivity, and reliability of financial data.
Act as liaison with cross-functional key stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Support the readiness of the succession plan.
Manage external audit activities and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Analyze financial statements and make recommendations to executives.
Lead the quarterly and year-end closing process and coordinate corporate periodic report packages.
Assist Treasury in monitoring debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
Work on special projects, including new ERP implementation and integration of new entities from M&A activities.
What You’ll Need:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in accounting, and/or advanced degree in Accounting; CPA desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 5 years in a public accounting firm.
Experience in an international business environment with cross-border transactions.
Strong background in IFRS and/or US GAAP.
Experience with SAP is recommended.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Direct team size: 6+
Work Environment:
This role spends approximately 50% of the time in an office environment and 50% of the time managing financial operations in different locations.
