About Our Branch
The Ford-Warren Branch Library is a medium-sized branch located in the historic Whittier neighborhood—one of Denver’s oldest African American communities. We serve a deeply rooted, multigenerational community alongside a growing number of young families, all of whom rely on the library as a consistent and welcoming space. The library is a block away from McAuliffe Manual/Manual High School, with a significant number of youth who spend time in the library after school. The ideal candidate is a supervisor who is not only comfortable working with young people but also genuinely skilled at building relationships with neighborhood youth, with success in this role depending on their ability to engage teens in a positive, respectful, and consistent way while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all. The library prides itself on strong customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and forming meaningful daily connections with our community. The ideal candidate will bring those same values, with a particular strength in youth engagement and community presence.
About Our Position
DPL is hiring a Branch Supervisor for the Ford Warren Branch. We are seeking a dedicated Branch Supervisor to lead our library team in providing inclusive, high-quality service to a diverse community.
