About the role:   

As a Senior Manager UX Research,you’ll be at the forefront of Target’s evolving digital experience, shaping it for our guests or team members and contributing to business growthYou will lead a team of UX researchers dedicated to championing user-centered design and connecting the dots for cross functional teams.  

Success for this leader requires the ability to understand Target’s priorities and partner with a broad set of stakeholders to establish experience direction. You will leverage your influence and expertise to increase the impact of research insights and strategy. Day to day, you’ll ensure your team has what they need to thrive and deliver great work. This includes operating routines, insights, research direction and strategy, partner awareness, and a collaborative and inclusive culture.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Build trust while proactively partnering with UX, Product, Technology & Business stakeholders to set the stage for your team to achieve exceptional outcomes 

  • Define research roadmaps and identify possible research opportunities based on key partner priorities and business needs within the Guest or Enterprise UX Team 

  • Lead a balanced team of researchers and grow the team's ability to balance multiple projects/demands. 

  • Coach, mentor, and guide a team of individual contributors of various levels, helping them to grow and develop new skills, while increasing trust, transparency, and engagement.
