Senior Engineering Manager, Work Insights (Remote Eligible)

The Smartsheet Analytics Pillar at Smartsheet is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Engineering Manager to join our Product Engineering team to expand the features users have to uncover key trends & activities in their data to unlock the power of business intelligence analytics right inside Smartsheet.

You will report to our Senior Engineering Manager located in our Bellevue office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

You Will:

• Guide and mentor team members regarding architecture and best practices
• Review and coach team on project designs for design review presentations
• Analyze feature sets for market effectiveness: promote appropriate feedback and discussions with Product and Design
• Analyze feature sets for implementation efficiency and performance: facilitates feedback and discussions with Product and Design
• Create strong partnership with product management and other essential areas of the business
• Actively participate in recruiting

You Have:

• 10+ years software development experience
• 4+ years previous management experience
• Experience building scalable, highly available customer-facing cloud applications
• Experience building or managing full stack teams is a plus
• Experience building teams including, recruiting and retention
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• AWS or other Cloud experience
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis

Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $199,800 to $275,400 | All other US States: $185,000 to $255,000
