Information Security Analyst - Level 1

Job Description

 

Cintas is currently looking for an Information Security Analyst-Level 1 for the Engineering and Operations Team within IT Security. The Information Security Analyst-Level 1 is responsible for: performing analysis of security events; operational security tasks; using our security tools and processes for posture improvement; applying industry standards and best practices;  assisting in organizational maturity assessments and initiatives; working collaboratively with internal and external IT resources to reduce cyber vulnerabilities; supporting security reviews of existing and proposed systems; providing occasional after hours and weekend support; communicating with multiple levels of management; and attending technology conferences and seminars when relevant to current position or specialty area.

Skills/Qualifications

 

Required:

 

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting operational IT security requirements or equivalent security training/education, preferred
• Minimum of 1 year overall in Information Security preferred
• Experience creating scripts (e.g., Python) to pull evidence data, preferred
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently with direction and work collaboratively in teams
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication

 

Preferred:

 

• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks
