Senior Process Chemical Engineer

Integral to our success is a Senior Process Engineer that will be responsible for process design and engineering.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Perform detailed process simulations and design calculations.
- Prepare process flow diagrams and material balances.
- Prepare equipment and instrument data sheets (control valves, safety valves, etc.).
- Prepare piping and instrument flow diagrams.
- Prepare operating manuals.
- Assist sourcing instruments/equipment.
- Supervise and train junior process engineers.
- Participate in FMECA/PHA review meetings.
- Lead module design and development.
- Support product certification with DNV/ABS/Lloyd's Register.
- Participate and support prototype demo tests and product deployments.
Requirements
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Have a BS in Chemical Engineering and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Have a PhD degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in simulation software such as Aspen Plus and HYSYS.
- Have the ability to plan and execute work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate initiative in problem solving.
- Have sound engineering judgment.
- Have designed pilot plants in an engineering company.
- Have engineering experience in maritime and offshore applications.

The salary pay range for this position is $119,000 to $135,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in New York City. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
