Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is building a world class finance organization and is looking for a top notch Senior Financial Analyst that is highly talented and result driven to join the team. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high growth environment and business knowledge in the area of Sales. This person will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the Sales organization and will be a key member of our Field Finance and FP&A team.
Your Impact
- Build, manage and maintain forecast models including - Headcount, bookings forecasts, quarterly spend projections, capacity/productivity models amongst others
- Partner with sales leaders by providing insightful data and analytics to make sound business decisions
- Prepare weekly cadence and metrics to identify key trends, risks and opportunities
- Responsible for driving and forecasting of expense and headcount ensuring data visibility and accuracy
- Complete monthly/quarterly budget vs actual analysis and accounting accrual process to provide better visibility into and control over spend
- Ad hoc and regular analyses of the business to drive high corporate performance and to assist with executive decision making
Qualifications
Your Experience
- 5+ years related experience in a FP&A function + BA/BS in finance or related discipline and record of strong advancement and achievement or equivalent military experience required
- 2+ years of experience supporting a high-technology Sales, Marketing, or Business/Corporate Development organization required
- Advanced excel skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models
- Experience and expertise in utilization of CRM, Planning and ERP systems such as Salesforce.com, SAC, and SAP
- Strong business and analytical skills
- Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment
- MBA, Financial certifications and/or other advanced degrees preferred
