Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager - Beauty & Wellness (ZR_22904_JOB)

This is a remote position.
Job Highlights:
- Contract type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: 20 hours/week; Flexible during AWST business hours
Client Timezone: Australian Western Time (Perth)
Scope:
- Complete ownership of digital marketing strategy and execution
- Direct communication with business owners
- Management of all digital marketing channels
- Budget responsibility for paid advertising campaigns
Responsibilities:
Create and send two email campaigns per month via Mailchimp
Design promotional materials for two monthly specials, including:·
- Facebook banner and square-format static graphics
- One animated story format for use on social media
Develop a monthly content plan for social media, including:·
- Filming requirements
- Trending topics and platform strategy based on current research
- Emphasis on minimal speaking, with preference for voice-overs
Produce and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including:·
- Reels, stories, and TikTok posts
- Three posts per week, adjusted based on performance and trend research
Execute a daily Stories strategy across platforms, rotating through brand pillars:·
- Awareness, education, current specials, reel sharing, and reusing relevant past stories
Manage Google Ads campaigns with:·
- Monthly research-driven keyword updates
- Elimination of underperforming terms
- Monthly reporting with insights and actionable recommendations
Oversee paid social media advertising, focusing on:·
- Targeted campaigns to reduce bot engagement and increase conversions
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly in social media management
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and Google Ads
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools
- Experience with content creation and management
- Knowledge of digital marketing analytics and reporting
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with beauty/wellness industry preferred
