Job Summary:

The Division of Physical Therapy is looking for an affiliate faculty member to teach in the entry-level campus-based DPT program beginning Summer 2026. This position includes acting as a part of a faculty team in lab sessions and individual content lectures.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership within lecture and/or lab settings within entry-level DPT education.

• Evaluate student assignments, laboratory competencies, applied skill assessments, and examinations in a timely and consistent manner, providing clear, constructive, and professional feedback that supports student learning and development.

• Foster an inclusive, respectful learning environment that promotes critical thinking, ethical practice, cultural humility, and professional identity formation.

• Collaborate with the course coordinator and other ranked faculty to ensure curricular consistency, quality assurance, and continuous improvement aligned with CAPTE standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed physical therapist in state that the faculty member practices in

• Graduate PT degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• DPT and specialty certification or fellowship training.

Work Schedule:

Work schedules vary by semester. Affiliate faculty are recruited based on needs with defined dates/times that can be selected by affiliates during the recruitment process.

These positions will remain open until filled, with a preferred application deadline of March 22nd, 2026.

This position is benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.

Pay Rate:

$40.00 per hour for DPT, $45.00 per hour for DPT + PhD, EdD, DSc or other terminal academic degree
