As a Senior Systems Requirements Engineer - Hardware Reliability, you'll be the integrator bridging the gap across electrical, mechanical, packaging, firmware and test teams to ensure the reliable working of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system and meets quality. Join our collaborative Systems Engineering team and contribute to technology that empowers users to manage their health with confidence. Where you come in:
You will create and maintain comprehensive hardware requirements specifications (HRS), guaranteeing alignment with system-level requirements and hardware architecture.
You will manage requirements traceability and conduct thorough reviews using industry-standard tools like Jama Connect. You'll be the gatekeeper of completeness, clarity, and consistency throughout the entire product lifecycle.
You will perform critical CGM accuracy and reliability predictions, sensor shelf life analysis, and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) calculations. You'll also play a key role in reviewing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
You will analyze schematics and system architecture diagrams, proactively identifying potential high-probability failure modes.
You will provide crucial support for hardware development activities at the component, platform, and product levels.
You will collaborate directly with hardware and test engineers to develop comprehensive test plans and cases, ensuring all documented requirements are validated.
You will generate and maintain verification trace matrices and master trace matrices, meticulously documenting end-to-end traceability from initial requirements to final test cases.
You will be a champion for best practices, advocating for and implementing rigorous systems engineering processes awithin the team and across departments.
What makes you successful:
You possess a deep understanding of complex hardware design and debugging, considering critical factors like accuracy, precision, material impact, environmental effects, and complex data analysis.
You have hands-on experience with lab equipment such as digital multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data loggers.
You are familiar with BLE architecture, mobile application development for both Android and iOS platforms. You have experience with lab measurements, characterization, debugging.
You are a master collaborator, effortlessly working with engineers from various disciplines, including mechanical, software, test engineering, hardware, manufacturing and firmware design.
You are a clear and concise communicator, confidently conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Your leadership shines through as you influence and guide cross-functional teams in adopting best-in-class systems engineering practices.
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, readily adapting to evolving needs and working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
