About the role
Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The Project Kuiper Executive Briefing Center (EBC) is seeking an experienced Briefing Manager to manage and plan executive briefings for customers in our EBC in Redmond, WA. As a Briefing Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of onsite executive briefings. This includes managing planning processes, timelines, stakeholder expectations & communications, executive engagement, and the successful execution of briefings.
In this role you will work with internal business development and sales stakeholders to provide strategic consultation on the design of briefing engagements. You will work backwards from the customer's business objectives to develop customized briefing agendas and experiences that solve specific customer challenges and drive adoption of Kuiper services. You will work closely with supporting briefing team members to develop, plan, and execute unique and impactful engagements for our customers which deepen relationships, accelerate deals, and inspire and delight customers.
You are able to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and deliver independently on both strategic and tactical program initiatives. You are organized, comfortable establishing processes and guidelines, collaborative, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and high-speed change, and able to work backwards from the customer to make data-driven decisions
Key job responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end briefing planning for executive briefings hosted in Kuiper’s Redmond Executive Briefing Center
• Develop briefing agendas and facilitate experiences that connect Kuiper executive leaders, subject matter experts, and customers for strategic, 1:1 outcome-based discussions
• Create mechanisms and drive efficiencies to deliver briefings at scale
• Build key relationships to drive the successful delivery of a streamlined experience to internal stakeholders and customers
• Partner with key stakeholders including EBC team, business development and sales, marketing, and engineering communities to understand and develop compelling agendas for customers.
• Improve, and in some cases, develop standard operating procedures
• Utilize exceptional communication skills to set appropriate expectations with internal and external stakeholders throughout the briefing planning process
• Deliver Live Service Demos of our basic connectivity solutions
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
