Here at Holman, our Human Resources representatives are key advocates for our employees and proponents of our company culture. While they are directly responsible for local Human resources administrative tasks and implementation of Holman policies, their value is in their consultative abilities. Responsibilities:
- Works with the Director of People Support on recommendations to leadership on improvements to the organization's policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assists in coordinating the implementation of changes in the organization's policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed, and changes are communicated to Team Members.
- Works with General Managers and Talent Acquisition on recruitment and hiring.
- Oversees Onboarding and New Hire procedures and compliance.
- Assists in the administration and maintenance of employee benefits programs.
- Maintains the company HRIS and works with the support team to add or revise functionality.
- Works directly with the Director of Operations and General Managers to advise them in carrying out HR-related compliance matters.
- Investigates employee-relations issues, conducts interviews, and escalates situations and problems to the People Support Business Partner or Director of People Support as needed.
- Draws up documentation related to employee performance and corrective actions.
- May supervise an HR Admin on daily activities and long-term projects.
- Participates on committees and special project teams as needed when time allows.
- Performs all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
