Staff Product Manager (Consumer Experience Software) (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)

 

Turn high-level business strategy into coherent product roadmaps using business intelligence data. Build compelling business cases for new business intelligence initiatives and align leadership to greenlight investment. Identify dependency bottlenecks and independently find pathways to align stakeholders. Mentor team members as reliable judges of logical reasoning and cultural alignment. Analyze market trends to maximize profits and find product expansion opportunities. Review financial reports and seek ways to reduce cost for the Consumer experience team. Develop fluency in the underlying architecture, codebase, and technologies of product platforms. Respond to and debug production scaling issues using tools such as WinDbg, dotTrace, dotMemory, PerfView, and Chrome Developer Tools. Load test public facing APIs, site, and associated tools to gain insights into regressions or performance bottlenecks. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to StubHub Inc. at 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, NY 10007. Salary: $200,000 to $285,000 per year.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Business Intelligence, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Product Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving framework development to prioritize technology features based on BI data, business value, and complexity. 

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Business Intelligence, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as Business Intelligence Analyst, Product Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving framework development to prioritize technology features based on BI data, business value, and complexity.

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience utilizing analytics tools including SQL to support technology decision-making; 3 years of professional experience writing and debugging SQL queries and procedures; 2 years of professional experience using a high-level programming language (including C#) and using languages for web development (including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS); 2 years of professional experience working with enterprise multi-tier software systems and development pipelines (including integration testing, dependency injection, web applications, and microservices); 1 year of professional experience utilizing reporting tools including Power BI; 1 year of professional experience mentoring junior developers and Product Managers; and 1 year of professional experience setting goals and managing objectives for software products.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
