Vehicle Porter and Quality Control

Purpose:

• To ensure efficient vehicle flow through our repair facility
• To ensure efficient parts and materials flow through our repair facility
• To ensure top level customer satisfaction with the services they receive

Supervisor: Store Manager

Type: Full-time non-exempt employee

Pay type: Hourly

Responsibilities:

Driving:

• Move customer vehicles into and out of building
• Test drive customer vehicles and report findings
• Pickup and deliver parts and materials
• Deliver and pick up customer vehicles
• Provide shuttle rides to customers

Quality Control:

• Verify repairs are complete and car is clean before returning to customer
• Vacuum vehicle floorboards
• Wipe down vehicle’s windows, dash, steering wheel and center console
• Top off fluids

• Check tire pressure
• Verify vehicle mileage and place reminder sticker for future service
• Place customer gifts in vehicles
• Fill out quality control checklist

Qualifications:

• Clean driving record
• Attention to detail
• Be able to lead a conversation with confidence and professionalism
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English on a professional level, other languages a plus
• Basic computer and phone use skills are required
