Oversees the people who lead internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Manages and prioritizes the project stream, working with internal customers to determine project definition and business requirements.

Provides budget analysis, resource allocation, and coordination of project activities that may be across functional areas within the organization. Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on time, and within budget.

Monitors reliability and any internal issues that appear as a result of the project. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Working at NTT

The main duty of the Strategic Program Manager is to manage strategic programs, portfolios and strategic initiatives that are key for the NTT Managed Services (CSD Division) evolution and growth.

This role should monitor and control the quality, scope, schedule and resources for these key programs to ensure the NTT CSD achieves the correct outcomes and following the overall NTT strategy.

As part of the Integration Management Office (IMO), the Strategic Program Manager will be reporting to the IMO Director and might be required to report the program and portfolio progress to the Senior Management board.



Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the planning, development, and implementation of assigned company programs and projects and new business development using the Program Management Professional and Project Management Professional (PgMP and PMP-PMI) methods aligned with the lean Agile execution process.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and planning for major strategic initiatives.
  • Creates schedules and proper roadmaps to ensure each phase of a strategic programs proceeds as planned.
  • Makes presentations to leadership and company executives concerning different phases of a program or portfolio.
  • Manages the scope of work, objectives, quality deliverables, resources, risks, and other program management activities.
  • Lead the operational contribution to proposal development and business development activities at a program level.
  • Oversee a portfolio or program of projects and ensure company-specific requirements are met and/or reflected.
  • Manages the executed contract and financial aspects of assigned projects, including reviewing study budgets and expenses.
  • Maintains and evaluates program progress by maintaining timelines and other tracking/analysis tools.
  • Lead and ensure consistency in contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive performance improvement, operational efficiencies, and innovative strategies.
  • Any other duties required by the Senior Management which is reasonably within the scope of this role.


Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Communication and leadership
  • Planning and organizing (structured mindset).
  • Proactive co-operation (desire to learn and improve).
  • Have a proven track record of managing large complex programs in the Service Integration Industries.
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Experience in managing M&A integration programs, with strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Conceptual understanding of service platforms and delivery models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project applications.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and with senior management stakeholders.
  • Tenacious attention to detail and quality.
  • Experience interacting with executive stakeholders and providing feedback in steering committee meetings.
  • Experience of working within a project office and/or program management.
  • A background in Professional Services based engagement.
  • PgMP, PMP or similar project and program management certifications.
  • Written and spoken English (fluent / native)
