TRANSCOM IGC - Cloud Architect

ITP is seeking Cloud Architect to support the transition of a critical application into the government, commercial or hybrid cloud. The Cloud Architect will provide support the plan, strategy, design, development, deployment of the application into the cloud. The Cloud Architect will assess, design and develop automated cloud based required and architectures in order to transition existing legacy system into the cloud. The Cloud Architect will improve cybersecurity and automation capabilities allowing the client to fully implement DEVSECOPS delivery pipeline.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience
• Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering or information technology
• Experience supporting cloud architecture, design, development, implementation and maintenance
• Experience architecting and implementing a scalable and resilient cloud environment that meets NIST and other security DoD security requirements
• Experience implementing DEVSECOPS application management automation tools
• Knowledge of security and compliance requirement for cloud based solutions
• Cloud Certifications: Solutions Architect (Professional), Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, DEVOPS Engineer, Big Data (AWS or similar certifications highly desired)
• Experience supporting distributed application and data warehouse architecture
• Experience using Kanban to track work assignment and to communicate with project team
• Direct experience transitioning from DoD shared service environment, i.e. DISA DECC
• Secret Clearance
