This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient planning and scheduling of production activities, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and coordinating with customers as well as suppliers to uphold delivery timelines.

This is an onsite role and the individual will sit at the Collins Aerospace Interiors site in Winston-Salem, NC. 

What You Will Do:

  • Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to optimize workflow and resource utilization.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor materials inventories and track production progress to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed production reports to analyze performance metrics and facilitate proactive decision-making.

  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate closely with suppliers to verify shipment details and maintain accurate delivery schedules.

  • Logistics and Distribution: Organize and oversee the delivery, assembly, and distribution of supplies to support seamless production operations.

  • Recommendations: Compile data and provide insightful recommendations to enhance production rates, manage materials inventory effectively, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Work Orders and Requisitions: Plan, schedule, and release work orders and material requisitions to meet customer demand and maximize production efficiency.

  • Workflow Coordination: Coordinate production workflow across multiple product lines to ensure alignment with production schedules and operational goals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience in the aerospace industry or a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working with Supply Chain, Scheduling, and/or Production Planning processes.

  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems.
