What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Introduce and manage vehicle orders through manufacturing. 
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams, Body, Paint, Quality, Logistics and Assembly, status of orders and requirements to delivery.  
  • Coordinate with production, quality, material handling, material ordering, suppliers, and inventory control to ensure timely availability of production components. 
  • Monitor production progress of customer orders and adjust shop schedules as needed to meet customer deadlines and optimize capacity utilization.  Report accordingly.  
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, delays, or inefficiencies, and propose corrective actions. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements to improve flow and reduce waste. 
  • Generate reports on production performance, vehicle order status and material availability for management review. 
  • Ensure adherence to all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, SC.
  • The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering or Finance or a related field.  
  • 2+ years of experience in production control, material control or shop control in the automotive industry. 
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes as this role exists in the epi-center of the plant and team is the heartbeat of the plant.  
  • Detailed knowledge of systems, ERP/MRP, preferably SAP, Microsoft office suite, especially excel.   
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments.
