Job Description

We are seeking a highly seasoned Federal Proposal Writer to join our elite Government Services Team to focus on supporting proposals and conveying relevant capabilities in response to statements of work. You will provide thought leadership and creativity by merging strong writing and storytelling to convey how PS capabilities can lead to outcomes that improve the public services provided by the federal government. You will bring the full capabilities of Publicis Sapient to expand and grow the business. Your results roll-up to the results of our company growth, and in this role, you will harness the depth and breadth of Publicis Sapient’s portfolio and rich assets. You will be supporting the Business development team.

In this role, you will be tasked with the following:

  • Thoroughly examine SOWs to identify key requirements, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Create comprehensive outlines for proposal responses, ensuring all client requirements are addressed.
  • Author clear, concise, and compelling proposal sections; edit content for accuracy, coherence, consistency, and compliance.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts across Publicis Sapient to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
  • Work with visual designers to design compelling graphics that supplement and complement written content.
  • Verify that all proposal components meet address evaluation criteria while managing to convey the positive outcomes that PS approaches will deliver
  • Compile, format, and maintain all proposal documents and related materials in an organized manner.
  • Regularly update team members and stakeholders on the status of proposal development and any changes to timelines or requirements.
  • Perform research to support proposal content, including market analysis, competitor insights, and technical information.
  • Facilitate internal review and approval processes to ensure all stakeholders provide feedback and sign off on proposal content.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

Qualifications:

  • Proposal Writing: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in proposal writing and development, preferably within the IT or consulting industry.
  • SOW Review: Demonstrated exp. in reviewing and interpreting statements of work to extract key requirements and develop outlines.
  • Content Development: Proven track record of authoring high-quality content for proposals, reports, and other business documents.
  • Collaboration with SMEs: Experience working closely with subject matter experts to gather information and develop accurate and compelling proposal content.
  • Technical Writing Proficiency: Demonstrates a strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology.
  • Compliance and Standards: Knowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards related to proposal submissions and content development.
  • Success Metrics: Proven ability to contribute to winning proposals, with a history of successful outcomes and measurable impacts on business growth.
  • Self: Strong learning mindset and drive for continuous evolution and self-improvement, including exceptional communication and negotiation skills, personal adaptability, and high empathy and curiosity
  • Flexible and mobile, able to work in a hybrid WFH and office and travel as the role necessitates
