ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Director of Accounts, Department of Transportation / Federal Aviation Administration within the Civilian Division and within Civilian and Health Operating Group, located in the DC Metro area.
Location: Hybrid -- 2 days onsite at the Reston HQ
Summary:
As a leader within ASRC Federal, you will be responsible for overall leadership of our Federal Aviation Administration account, which is part of the Civilian Division and the Civilian and Health Operating Group.
In this key position, you will be responsible for operational oversight, input into FAA growth strategy, portfolio financial results, business development in support of the Division strategy, and coaching/development for subordinate functional leaders. As a senior leader, you will provide ethical leadership for the organization and ensure all ASRC Federal Holding Company policies and procedures are communicated, implemented, and enforced. Interface with senior level customer contacts promoting subsidiary and company capabilities. This position reports directly to the Division Vice President of the Civilian Division.
Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership input into setting the mission, vision, values, strategic plan.
• Leads by example in setting the ethical tone for the account, operational managers, and subordinates.
• Oversees the administration and implementation and compliance with company policies and procedures; and in conjunctions with subsidiary managers creates a culture of integrity embraced by all employees.
• Maintains operational oversight for the accounts assigned. Directly oversees contract program managers and project managers. Provides operational leadership and is the facilitator within the division and shared services in support of accounts. Maintains the operational business rhythm in a fast-paced and dynamic account set and remains current on operational performance and activities. A key responsibility of this role is to keep account operations running smoothly in support of continued growth and the division strategy
• Responsible for weekly status reports and deliverables, monthly program reporting and review, monthly business reviews, and quarterly and annual reporting.
• Supports the strategic planning, development, and implementation of the company's goals, policies, and future direction for the portfolio and in support of the division and operating group. Communicates and implements operational initiatives to execute ASRC Federal Holding and subsidiary organizational objectives.
• Leads the operations and growth of the company's business in a profitable and sustainable manner capitalizing on superior assets and innovation and operating in a socially responsible and ethical manner.
• Ensures alignment with the company's overall objectives. Leverages systems and processes that ensure compliance with all regulations required during customer business.
• Responsible for revenue, profit and growth targets, pipeline curation and management with the support of business development, and support of strategic recompetes and opportunities working with capture teams.
• Works collaboratively with other account leads, senior executive team members and subsidiary general managers in providing market insight and the development of solutions to business challenges.
• Communicates regularly with leadership to provide business review, strategic updates, and status of business opportunities and challenges.
• Serves as a key customer contact and external spokesperson for ASRC Federal. Effectively manages relations with a wide variety of communities in which the company operates, including shareholders, employees, creditors, suppliers, the media, governments, and the general public.
• Partner with Human Resources to evaluate and implement development programs to ensure the continuation of a talent pool to address the needs of the organization. This includes programs to coach, mentor, evaluate and access performance, employee succession planning programs, Shareholder hiring initiatives and Affirmative Action, etc.
• Establishes operational goals and objectives for the portfolio and evaluates the performance of senior managers. Reviews achievement and compliance against established policies, objectives, and measurable results.
• Develops relationships, assesses, and evaluates potential alliances, acquisitions, mergers, and investments. May provide input to or be involved in related negotiations.
• Ensures that organizational metrics are captured on a regular and ongoing basis
