RN Phone Triage Womens Health Resource

About the unit 

We support specialty practices within all of Corewell Health with this position focusing on Women's Health. This team consists of RN's, exclusive to telephone triage. This position is resource based, meaning it will work variable hours, as needed, determined by the needs of the department, with no regular set schedule.

About Outpatient Clinics 

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. 

 

Scope of work 

Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment. 

 

Qualifications 

• Associate's Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Preferred

• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required upon hire

• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

• 2 years of RN experience in women's health strongly preferred
