KBR’s enduring mission support of the <b><span>LOGCAP</span></b> program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Job Summary</span></b></p><p></p><p>As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards for electrical installations. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various electrical equipment, support systems, and controls on <span>commercial/industrial</span> projects, including government initiatives. The role involves adherence to safety protocols, identification, and resolution of deficiencies, and proactive involvement in procurement processes.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Roles and Responsibilities </span></b></p><ul><li><p>Report to and receive assignments, instructions, and direction from the Master Electrician or Supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Oversee Preventative Maintenance Schedules and work in coordination with the department leadership to provide oversight of electrical crews performing inspections and repairs on equipment to include instrumentation, inverter drives, DCS/SCADA, LV and HV motors, switchgear and control gear, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), AC and DC, variable speed drives and specialized control panels.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the highest quality standards are met or exceeded in all installations.</p></li><li><p>Maintain, repair, and replace or install a broad range of electrical equipment and systems in support of base construction and maintenance activities.</p></li><li><p>Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.</p></li><li><p>Identify and repair deficiencies identified during the PMI / TI inspections.</p></li><li><p>Complete records, maintain tools and equipment, and perform various clean-up and housekeeping activities.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for identifying proper materials required for specific installations, submitting material requisitions through the procurement process, and following up with materials and/or logistics personnel until received.</p></li><li><p>Continue professional development in electrical technologies.</p></li><li><p> Perform other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Basic Qualifications </span></b>(Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)</p><ul><li><p>Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience.</p></li><li><p>Requires a Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification from the US or UK.</p></li><li><p>Requires experience in both British and American standards.</p></li><li><p>Must be familiar with BS7671 18th Edition and US National Electric Code.</p></li><li><p>Must be a familiar with a Fluke Multi-Functional Tester used in BS7671 Testing and inspection.</p></li><li><p>Must be knowledgeable with regards to electrical codes and EU standards.</p></li><li><p>Must have experience in maintaining electrical distribution systems on <span>commercial/industrial</span> and government projects.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and other diagrams.</p></li><li><p>Must be proficient in the use of electrical diagnostic tools.</p></li><li><p>Requires the ability to diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to work in confined spaces, lift heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds on a regular basis), and work at elevated heights.</p></li><li><p>Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.</p></li><li><p>Must have a valid vehicle driver’s license and maintain its validity for the duration of employment.</p></li><li><p>Intermediate fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).</p></li><li><p>Requires Poland ID and/or a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity and 6 blank pages.</p></li><li><p>This position is under the local Poland payroll, and <b><u>c<u><b>an</b></u>didates must be Polish citizens.</u></b></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Preferred Qualifications</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Familiarity with international electrical codes and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Additional certifications related to electrical systems and controls.</p></li><li><p>2391 in
