<p>Title:</p>LCV EUCOM OEW Germany: Logistics Warehouseman, Senior<p></p><p></p><p>Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of construction and maintenance activities.</p><ul><li>Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports.</li><li>Maintains inventories and completes records.</li><li>Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party rentals.</li><li>Under general supervision, receives general guidance on work priority.</li><li>Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of services.</li><li>Evaluates service execution for compliance to contract, schedule, cost budgets, and quality.</li><li>Advises team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors in reference to scope of work.</li><li>Informs team of updates to safety rules and procedures.</li><li>Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience.</li></ul><p></p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><p>1. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.</p><p>2. Coordinate and oversee the receiving, inspection, and inventory control processes for incoming subsistence.</p><p>3. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials within the warehouse to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy retrieval.</p><p>4. Maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate warehouse food service management systems and procedures.</p><p>5. Coordinate with prime vendor and project teams to ensure timely availability of line items in the PV warehouse.</p><p>6. Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse, including proper handling of hazardous materials.</p><p>7. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.</p><p>9. Conduct regular inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.</p><p>10. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the warehouse operations.</p><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>1. High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.</p><p>2. Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity.</p><p>3. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.</p><p>4. Knowledge and access to the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and DLA Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES).</p><p>5. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.</p><p>6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.</p><p>7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.</p><p>8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.</p><p>9.
