Our facility in Wilmington, MA is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive high-energy beta radiation to support the treatment of inoperable liver tumors.  We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated, team player, with a passion for making a difference to join our diverse team.

Job Description

The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, execution, and monitoring of strategic merger & acquisition (M&A), and post M&A integrations. This role will be responsible for multiple cross-functional streams of work, identification, and resolution of program-level issues and the mitigation of risks where they pose a significant threat to success, always with a focus on delivering value to the business in a timely manner. The role requires an individual who has proven M&A, and post M&A integration and project management experience.

· Responsible for planning and execution of the M&A activities and operational transitions of the acquired business.

· Manage relationships with senior business leads to ensure ongoing awareness, buy-in and shared ownership.

· Partners with business development function to develop and execute the M&A and post-M&A integration plans by ensuring key milestones are met and dependencies managed. Facilitate and lead cross functional integration meetings, ensuring all activities are on track.

· Provides regular feedback regarding the needs of local management and operational teams for acquisition transition activities.

· Identifies process standardization opportunities, leads the implementation of adoption of best practices and process improvement efforts in partnership with the business development team.

· Responsible for coordinating the interaction and involvement of local business stakeholders (e.g., operations, finance, accounting, sales and marketing, IT, HR).

· Ability to anticipate areas of difficulty/potential unknown risks, contribute towards creative solutions and moves to action quickly.

· Oversee migration of newly acquired entities onto Sirtex QMS.

· Manage medium to large size due diligence and advisory projects from local to global scale

· Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including completing proposals.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in health sciences, health administration, business administration, accounting, marketing, or related field required.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience of direct M&A and post M&A integration is required.

· As a lead/sole program manager on a minimum of two integration projects (post-acquisition), including manufacturing transfer and commercial launch.

· Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.

· 5+ years of proven experience in program management with an emphasis on continuous improvement, problem solving and risk mitigation.

· Project Manager Professional (PMP) certificate preferred.

· Demonstrated project management, consulting, process flow development and facilitation skills.

· Ability to successfully perform in a matrix accountability structure, reporting the progress of deliverables and project updates to senior leadership team.

· Proficient communications skill (oral, written and presentation) with the ability to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization.

· Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Excellent engagement, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to unite those with various perspectives towards a shared vision.

· Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail with the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast
