Designer Teamsport Footwear

YOUR MISSION

• Design Footwear products for Puma Teamsport and implement all stages of the Design process from Briefing to finalized product
• Design unique and market relevant footwear products with a holistic approach, which encompasses product design, colour, materials, and graphics that adheres to the consumer needs and with the integration of the PUMA Visual Brand language
• Produce compelling design narratives and solutions to briefs that are commercially relevant
• Attend research trips that could include market visits, account meetings, consumer focus groups, and athlete feedback sessions, that give you the insight you need to further develop your ideas
• Present professional renderings of design solutions as well as a 3D representation of the responsible for the presentation of design solutions to cross functional teams
• Work directly with Product Line Management and Product Development teams to execute designs that adhere to costing goals while advancing category initiatives.

YOUR TALENT

• 4 years of experience in design involving consumer products; footwear design experience required
• Technical and aesthetic understanding as well as knowledge and experience with functional based products and trend relevant detailing
• Footwear manufacturing materials and process knowledge. Leather, textile, woven, non-woven, plastics, metal, printing, painting and related processes
• Drawing, rendering, presentation and communication skills
• Open to travel and work within a diverse team
• Be a true team player with the ability to work autonomously
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
• Bachelor degree in Art/Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related
• This opportunity will be available in full time or part time
