The Opportunity:

The Systems Engineer is a critical team member responsible for the technical health of our customers. You will bring your deep product knowledge to advise customers on their platform health, providing guidance on District Defend architectures and technical best practices to ensure customers remain successful and realize the full value of District Defend. As a District Defend Systems Engineer, you will support our customers on their adoption journey with product support, advisory and management of customer escalations.

You Have:

• Experience with customer escalations and account management in complex Government enterprise environments

• Experience with endpoint technologies, including Bitlocker, user profiles and registries, certificate stores, UEFI, and networking, such as virtual and physical

• Experience with Windows domain fundamentals, including domain controllers, AD Site and Services, Replication, GPOs, and ADFS

• Experience with advanced Windows 10 features, including Kiosk Mode, Unified Write Filters, and Windows Defender integration

• Knowledge of software development processes and technical environments

• Knowledge of networking principles, including DNS and DHCP

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• PKI Certification, including VPN, IPSec, or SSL

Nice If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with technical support, professional services, and systems administration and engineering

• 5+ years of experience with managing strategic and top accounts in the technology sector

• 5+ years of experience in an enterprise customer facing role

• Experience with deploying on-premises and cloud infrastructure to host product’s server-side services on Azure and AWS

• Experience with endpoint security, enterprise mobility, and mobile and wireless products

• Experience with designing and engineering gold load server and client images for deployment

• Ability to communicate effectively with individual contributors and senior leaders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and be well organized in writing client documentation

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
