Purpose:

The purpose of the Associate Director, Capabilities Lead for Clinical Laboratory Sciences is to ensure quality training operations, capability and personnel management and project/business planning are carried out effectively for the functional organization. This role will support CLS globally providing metrics and project management to support daily operations and transformation projects and initiatives.

Training & Onboarding

• Design and coordinate training and onboarding of new hires and work closely with leadership to ensure materials are optimised and remain current to reflect changes in policies and procedures.
• Collaborate within CLS team to provide role-specific training and resources.
• Review and identify team training needs and liase across CLS leadership to develop, update and coordinate delivery.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and make improvements based on participant feedback.
• Recommend and implement new technologies or methodologies to improve training delivery and effectiveness
• Identify existing talent and skills internally to progress key initiatives.

Business Planning and Operations

• Ensure appropriate, necessary, and effective metrics development, review/analysis, reporting, and issue resolution to drive business and operational changes.
• Engage in or lead special projects related to process improvement, tool or capability enhancements, transformation efforts or strategic initiatives for the CLS organization.
• Communicate with business partners on progress of deliverables and risk mitigation strategies developed and implemented.
