What Drives Success

The Quality Control Inspector’s primary function are to ensure the inspection of finished products in accordance with checklists and inspection procedures.

 

Job Duties:

  • Assisting in the sampling, sorting, measuring and inspection of incoming components and raw materials to the company’s blueprints or specifications.
  • Ensure the inspection of finished product to checklists and inspection procedures.
  • Assists in the labeling, segregation and reporting of items which did not meet inspection requirements.
  • Assists in the preparation of required inspection reports.
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
  • Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods.
  • Determining the causes of product defects and reworks.
  • Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products.
  • Notify the department manager of any items that don’t meet requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • What We Are Looking For

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be able to work 5 days a week – 8am-5pm.
    • Must be able to read/write in English.
    • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Problem-solving abilities are essential.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Basic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
    • Ability to use measuring devices like calipers and measuring tape.

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

     

    Experience

    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control

     

    Physical Requirements – Essential

    • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
