Under the supervision of the Communications Director, the Marketing Communications Specialist supports the development and implementation of strategic content and marketing initiatives that elevate Casa Pacifica’s brand and support its fundraising and outreach goals. This position plays a key role in shaping the public voice of Casa Pacifica and its residential treatment program, Camino a Casa, including crafting compelling digital content, managing multi-channel campaigns and amplifying the organization’s impact through thoughtful, data-informed storytelling. The ideal candidate will bring a strong creative sensibility, digital fluency and a deep commitment to advancing Casa Pacifica’s mission of supporting vulnerable children, young adults, and families facing mental health challenges.

Note: This role will require overtime work (possibly night and weekends) before, during, and after events or projects, occasionally at short notice, to meet deadlines or operational needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Among the Marketing Communications Specialist’s primary duties:
- Develop compelling, on-brand content that aligns with the agency’s mission and targets specific audiences
- Maintain and execute content calendars for Casa Pacifica, Camino a Casa, and annual events
- Create, edit, and manage all digital content, including monthly newsletters, blogs, and email campaigns
- Implement website updates including press releases, images, logos, and program information
- Assist with video production and photography for campus activities and fundraising events
- Monitor and engage with audiences on all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner
- Track performance email metrics and analyze content effectiveness to optimize future strategies
- Stay up to date with evolving digital trends, tools, apps, and strategies
- Organize and manage digital assets including images, documents, and videos
- Support email list management, including segmentation and updates for newsletters and campaigns
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for visual design and possess the ability to write copy that is creative and engaging. Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills and communication skills (both written and oral) are essential. Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines is a must. The ideal Marketing Communications Specialist will be self-motivated, energetic and flexible. S/he will also strive in a fast-paced environment and build positive, collaborative working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization. Some evening and weekend work is required, particularly around fundraising events and key campaign timelines.
