<h2><b>The Group You’ll Be A Part Of</b></h2> <p>Global Product Support CSBG Clean Villach </p> <h2><b>The Impact You’ll Make</b></h2> <p><span><span>Lam Research AG Villach CSBG Clean is seeking Hardware / System engineer who will provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. Lam CSBG Clean (Spin Processor, DaVinci &amp; DV-Prime) equipment experience is preferred.</span></span></p> <h2><b>What You’ll Do</b></h2> <ul> <li><span><span>Responsible for customer betas including installation, qualification, milestones, technical requirements, training and certification of local teams / customer</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Provides support to engineering and service products both at the factory and in the field</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Includes working in customer wafer fabrication sites / environments as required to fulfil the support function</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Creates and presents reports related to design, reliability, maintenance problems, SW bugs, projects and escalations to the relevant factory groups</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Creates and updates documentation for field service engineers and customers</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Support reported product issues by the field service engineers via problem reports</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Participates and leads as required Knowledge Management activities to share learning worldwide in order to expedite solutions, reduce repeat issues, escalations and improve cycle time closure</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Represents Lam by creating material and expertly presenting technical findings to the customer</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Can take place at the factory or in the field depending on the need</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Can include travel at short notice (24 hours)</span></span></li> </ul> <h2><b>Who We’re Looking For</b></h2> <p><span><span>There are certain working conditions and requirements for this role, requiring ability and willingness to:</span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>work in confined spaces, in cleanroom environments</span></span></li> <li><span><span>wear and function in full personal protective equipment</span></span></li> <li><span><span>work with chemicals</span></span></li> </ul> <p><b><span><span>Preferred Qualifications</span></span></b></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Technical education in electronics, mechatronics, engineering or other applicable field of study</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Completed exam of HTL in Electrical Engineering or other applicable field of study </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Excellent presentation skills</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Proficiency in English (oral and written). Any other language would be an asset</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Willingness to travel ~25% worldwide is a requirement of this position</span></span></li> </ul> <h2><b>What We're Offering</b></h2> <p><span><span>This position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E or F, depending on Education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
