About the role

  • This position is for CCO employees only, located within the DMV region
  • This is a part-time positon (10 hours/week)
  • This position offers a $700/month stipend.

Purpose of the position: 

  • Ministry Supervisors are player/coaches who steward the mission of the CCO by maintaining their current ministry while supervising other Campus Staff and Campus Ministry Teams in each partnership. Ministry Supervisors oversee 2-5 ministry contexts and work in collaboration with the Regional or Area Director of the region.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree
  • Experience: 3 years of ministry experience required; campus ministry experience preferred; 1 year of management/supervisory experience preferred

Job Description:


Maintaining and Multiplying Ministry Contexts 

● Ministry Supervisors are responsible for coordinating up to 5 ministry contexts (Campus, Church Partner, Staff); including renewing annual partnership agreements. 

● Conduct annual assessments of the health and effectiveness of all ministry contexts according to the expectations in the Partnership and Campus Ministry Playbooks.


Hiring, Equipping and Supervising Staff 

● In collaboration with the Training Department and other various CCO resources, equip Campus Staff to achieve ministry outcomes as outlined in the 5Es campus ministry strategy (Engage, Evangelize, Establish, Equip, Embody) and Campus Ministry Playbook. 

● In collaboration with the Training Department and Talent Acquisition & Mobilization Team recruit Interns and  Apprentices for CCO pipeline. 

● Conduct semi-annual performance reviews of all direct reports, implementing annual performance plans, handling compensation and all necessary documentation thereof. 


Other Projects & Duties Assigned 

● Coordinate DMV regional events for students and staff. 

● In collaboration with the Partnership Team and Operations, and with adherence to the CCO Privacy Policy oversee data-gathering for every ministry context. 

● In collaboration with the Marketing Department and Advancement, provide at least two ministry highlight stories per semester. 

● Pray regularly and frequently for the ministry of the CCO. 

● Meet or exceed support raising goals. 

● Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
