Position Purpose:
At Mercy Care, we believe every patient interaction is an opportunity to make a difference. As a Patient Experience Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, setting the tone for a compassionate, welcoming, and efficient care experience.
What You Will Do:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, assess their needs, and provide clear directions.
Assist with appointment check-ins, patient inquiries, and wayfinding.
Serve as a backup to the Medical Office Specialist, supporting registration, scheduling, and front desk operations during peak times or absences.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient flow and ensure timely service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in waiting areas.
Address patient concerns with empathy, using de-escalation techniques when needed.
Support administrative tasks, including verifying patient information and making announcements.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Experience with EPIC or similar systems is a plus.
