Content Operations Specialist Senior

We use modern product management techniques to ensure products solve the right problems, meet user expectations, and achieve business value.</p> <p> </p> <p>You’ll have the opportunity to work on a complex ecosystem, with a wide range of bleeding-edge technologies to discover. As a Video Content Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:<br/> ● preparing configuration of live video pipelines to deliver events (i.e. football matches) across the world;<br/> ● perform setup and testing together with the production partner sending the signals from the ground;<br/> ● train and support the L1 team covering the events H24<br/> ● video transcoding from high quality formats using cutting-edge products and technologies;<br/> ● quality control analyses to guarantee high level of the output for both on demand and live content;<br/> ● encryption of contents using multiple DRM technologies.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>In order to best fulfill your role, we would like you to have expertise, varying depending on seniority, in:<br/> ● video processing and delivery operations;<br/> ● technical background and ability to deal with desktop and server environments (user level);<br/> ● good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments;<br/> ● analytical skills and accuracy.</p> <p><br/> Nice to have:<br/> ● Video encoding formats and standards knowledge (MPEG, H.264, H.265, ...)<br/> ● Audio encoding formats and standards knowledge (PCM, AAC, Dolby Digital, DTS, ...)<br/> ● Adaptive streaming formats and standards knowledge (MPEG DASH, Smooth Streaming, HLS, ...)<br/> ● DRM solutions and standards knowledge (MPEG CENC, Microsoft Playready, Google Widevine, ...)</p> <p> </p> <p><em>At Globant we believe that an inclusive culture and a diverse environment makes us stronger.
