Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) Technician - F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS) – Foreign Military Sales (IRAQ)

Major Job Activities

Key Responsibilities:

• 20% - Train, Advise, Assist, and Integrate IqAF PMEL shop operations, focusing on fleet health and availability.
• 20% - Repair, calibrate, and modify test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE).
• 15% - Use technical publications and schematics; train IqAF in their use.
• 10% - Recommend process modifications to improve productivity.
• 15% - Document records and maintain oversight in support of IqAF training.
• 20% - Collaborate with CLS/IqAF teams and perform other duties as assigned.

Material & Equipment Directly Used

Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE); technical manuals; schematics.

Working Environment

Deployed environment with active flight line operations; cooperation with international teams.

Physical Activities

Lifting up to 50 lbs; standing for extended periods; use of hand tools and precision instruments.

Qualifications

Education: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman)

Certifications: A&P certification preferred.

Experience: 8 to 10 years in the PMEL field.

Other Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen; eligible for Secret clearance; willing to travel worldwide including Middle East; previous international experience preferred.

Skills and Technology Used: TMDE systems; Logistics Management System tools; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
