• Precision Grinder – Full-Time Position 

  Location: Oakley Street Poughkeepsie NY 

  Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

  Compensation: $20 an hour 

   

  Job Description 

  We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Precision Grinder to join our team specializing in precision measurement equipment. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with grinding tolerances as tight as ±.0001”, alongside some of the most accomplished professionals in the field. 

  The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 

  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a technical role 
  • Entry-level grinding experience 

  Responsibilities 

  • Operate manual and production grinding machines 
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics 
  • Apply basic math skills to measure and verify tolerances 
  • Perform precision grinding and maintain strict quality standards 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area 
  • Safely lift components up to 45lbs 

  Requirements 

  • Own transportation 
  • experience reading blueprints 
  • Basic math proficiency 
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with grinding tools 
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
