The primary role of Senior Manager, US Field Medical (FM) Hematology/Oncology (HemOnc) Strategy & Operations is to support the function of Field Medical working within the HemOnc business units and across the multiple field teams. The position collaborates with US Field Medical Oncology and Hematology leadership team to handle FM project workstreams, systems and financial operations, and FM portfolio initiatives. In addition, this position will enable the execution of FM contributions and activities to support the safe and appropriate use of BMS medicines.
Key Responsibilities
Support Associate Director of FM Strategy on variety of projects and initiatives to drive the effectiveness of the US FM team
Lead project management and timely operational execution of activities for FM materials, meetings, systems (Interact, MEDSights, Nexus etc.) and communication topics as aligned with Hem/Onc FM leadership.
Independently manage project work streams and initiatives aligned with the FM Plan to ensure the team delivers impactful HCP interactions.
Develop stakeholder communications utilizing various systems to generate reports on FM activities (both qualitative and quantitative) and execution of strategies.
Manage content repository related to upload and maintenance of materials through SharePoint and the Veeva Platforms (Veeva Vault/MEDeXchange).
Demonstrate knowledge of approved and investigational products within the therapeutic area(s) and can apply that understanding to all related activities (FIRe Calls, MMTs, LT discussions).
Work with HemOnc FM Leadership team and BI&A on evaluating field performance and delivery of quarterly business reviews.
Apply innovative approaches and technologies to deliver project needs and identify areas of process improvement.
Lead all congress management FM activities, including tracking attendance, coordination of TLEs, booth & session coverage, training MSLs and leading efforts to create post-congress summary in conjunction with key medical stakeholders
Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to ensure state licensing and credentialing compliance for US FM HemOnc teams.
Provide support of FM surveys and market research projects, working closely with market research team and STEM vendor. Summarize and provide results to USFM HemOnc leadership
Collaborate with FM Training, HOM, FM Operations Managers across other TAs, FM Cross-TA Team in support of a cohesive approach to FM activities consistent with similar areas across TAs
Provide support for US Medical and USFM HemOnc meetings as needed
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in scientific area MSN, DNP, PA, PharmD
A minimum of 2 year working in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment
3-5 years of project management/business operations experience
Limited travel requirement
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Experience in project management or business operations preferred.
