The Senior Promotional Systems Administrator is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and optimization of promotional systems and technologies that support property promotions and special events. This role ensures the efficient operation of promotional systems, provides advanced technical support, and collaborates with the Promotional Systems Manager to achieve departmental goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Set up, manage, and optimize promotional systems and technologies to ensure efficient operation and integration with other property systems.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for promotional systems, addressing complex issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Promotional Systems Manager to develop and implement system enhancements and updates.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of event logistics, including prize schedules, ordering of gifts, décor, prizes, and collateral materials.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to promotional systems and event performance.
  • Train staff on the use of promotional systems and tools, ensuring they are proficient in their use.
  • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and report potential issues to Marketing Leadership.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, preferably in a promotional or marketing environment.
  • Technical proficiency in promotional systems and related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time and tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to prepare and interpret technical reports.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues diplomatically and tactfully.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive toward results and meet deadlines.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                     

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
