Senior Project Manager - Product Development

Join our welcoming world of tech and let your ideas soar.</p><p></p><h3>Your role</h3><p>As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving complex and strategically important product development projects in the Airborne Early Warning (AEW) domain – airborne radar. You will be part of the project management office – an experienced and diverse team that needs new colleagues to handle our growing business.</p><p></p><p>Depending on your background and our business priorities, you will either lead an R&amp;D project that takes a new product from concept to prototype and onward to industrialization, or manage a large-scale customer delivery project involving both product development and delivery of a base configuration.</p><p></p><p>In both scenarios, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to stakeholder alignment and successful delivery—ensuring that scope, timeline, cost, and quality targets are met. You will work cross-functionally with teams in engineering, product management, operations and marketing/sales, and report regularly to senior management on progress, risks, and key milestones. Your ability to build trust, manage complexity, and navigate ambiguity will be essential to your success.</p><p></p><p>Most of our project activities take place in Kallebäck, Gothenburg, where we design, produce, integrate, verify and support our solutions. With that said, the majority of our customers are situated abroad, which means that some international (and also national) travel is part of the job.</p><p></p><h3>Your profile</h3><p>We are looking for an experienced and driven project manager who thrives in dynamic, cross-functional environments. You bring a strong track record of leading complex projects in technology-driven industries, preferably with a mix of product development and customer delivery. Experience in taking hardware or systems-based products through R&amp;D, prototyping, and industrialization is a strong advantage.</p><p></p><p>You combine strategic thinking with operational execution, and you are comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels. You are structured and analytical, yet pragmatic and adaptable when conditions change.</p><p></p><p>To succeed in this role, you likely have:</p><ul><li>A university degree in engineering, science, or relevant field</li><li>7+ years of project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams</li><li>Solid understanding of both agile and traditional project methodologies</li><li>Experience managing budgets, resources, and external partners</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills</li><li>Fluency in English</li></ul><p></p><p>Certification such as PMP, PPS or other relevant certification is a merit but not a requirement. Above all, we value a collaborative mindset, accountability, and a passion for delivering value through well-executed projects.</p><p></p><p>This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
