What You’ll Do
IronArch is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of secure automation and integration pipelines across a suite of enterprise tools supporting a federal customer. This role helps ensure seamless tool interoperability across multiple hosting environments, including on-premises infrastructure, cloud, and SaaS platforms.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipeline development, and integrating complex toolchains in hybrid environments. This position plays a critical role in maintaining performance, security, and audit readiness across enterprise deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines to support enterprise tool integration.
- Automate code validation, security scanning, and deployment processes.
- Lead integration of tools across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.
- Ensure that tool interoperability aligns with architectural and business requirements.
- Manage and enforce configuration/code baselines across tools.
- Collaborate with configuration management teams on secure deployment planning.
- Ensure integrations comply with all performance, security, and audit requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and support teams to align on DevSecOps strategy.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and propose scalable technical solutions.
- Manage and mentor 3–5 direct reports, including software engineers, integration analysts, or DevSecOps specialists.
- Provide career guidance, technical oversight, and workload balancing across team members who may support additional contracts.
- Public Trust Clearance or higher (ability to obtain and maintain required background investigation)
Preferred Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in DevSecOps engineering, with emphasis on integration pipeline design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience working in federal IT environments, with an understanding of agency-specific policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to implement secure automation in hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, SaaS).
- Experience with secure automation and CI/CD tools commonly used in enterprise DevSecOps environments, such as workflow orchestrators, vulnerability scanners, and version control platforms.
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical teams through complex challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
