Our digital strategy creates value not only for our consumer and customers but across our organization and system.  As the Lead Data Engineer, you will be a technical lead for data products and subject matter expert. The successful candidate should be an analytical thinking, self-learner, and be able to lead a team through proactive solution development.  In particular, we seek an experienced professional with a strong background in data analytics and advanced planning skills, in at least one of the following areas: inventory optimization and analysis, forecasting and forecast performance, demand segmentation, and production planning/scheduling. The candidate will have strong data engineering skills and have mastered SQL or similar query languages. The candidate will possess expertise in various modeling languages such as Python, R, and Prophet, and you will have experience applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to large data sets.

  

What You’ll Do for Us  

• Lead the design and engineering of features and solutions when it comes to data exploration, data transformation, data modeling, and data visualization that turns data into actionable insights for our business.  
• Developing well-designed, testable, efficient solutions by using best software development practices led and mentored by best-in-class engineers in the industry. 
• Design, develop, test, document, deploy, monitor, and support code.   
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources  
• Experience with Inventory Optimization and/or Multi-echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) Analysis, Time Series Forecasting, Demand Sensing, and/or Capacity Planning.
• Statistical Forecasting, Knowledge of SAP/IBP or other forecasting platforms.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data using advanced analytical tools and techniques, including Python, R, Prophet, Alteryx and ML/AI applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, logistics, procurement, operations) located in multiple geographical areas to ensure the successful execution of planning initiatives.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators and dashboards for planning initiatives (demand segmentation, inventory analysis, network optimization) to support performance improvement.
• Provide visibility over plans and status to multiple stakeholders.
• Diligently work side by side with Architects, Product Managers & Product Owners defining and supporting platforms and applications. 
• Decipher complex data structures, translate them into understandable formats, and communicate effectively to the Development Team.
• Collect, interpret, and evaluate data, brainstorm solutions, and project the consequences of recommendations.
• Evaluate front-end solutions to ensure alignment with original data sources.
• Support design thinking centralize data feeds from multiple disparate systems/data sets in support of S&OP activities.

  

Qualification & Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience with managing technical data and using business Intelligence data Visualization tools like PowerBI, ORI, Tableau etc.
• 3+ years of experience in planning, inventory, or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced planning analytical skills (inventory optimization and analysis, forecasting, demand segmentation, production planning / scheduling etc.)
• Expert analytical, quantitative, and data visualization skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Solid knowledge with relational SQL databases and non-relational databases data modeling and architecture.
• Experience with at least one if these programing languages: Python, Scala, R , Prophet.
• Experience working in a multinational, distributed team, with in-house and external delivery resources.
