As Radiation Therapy Manager, you will oversee daily operations and coordination of services, activities of the radiation therapists, technical aids, and van drivers, while also managing assigned areas to meet business goals through cost containment and enhanced service.

Delivering compassionate care to patients and their families is the primary focus of the nursing caregivers in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Cleveland Clinic. This team strives to provide excellent nursing care to maximize health, enhance quality of life, relieve suffering, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
A caregiver in this position works from 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provides administrative and clinical supervision for therapists, transportation groups, block and mold technicians.
Assists in conducting performance evaluations.
Monitors staff certification and current license documentation.
Assists with radiation oncology personnel recruiting and retention.
Oversees daily operation and coordination of services.
Manages the patients' scheduling.
Coordinates procedures with physician schedules, availability of machines, personnel resources, and other departments.
Ensures appropriate staffing levels according to ACR standards and patient volume.
Coordinates daily radiation oncology services. Assists with departmental budget preparation.
Assesses current practices and procedures for optimum cost effectiveness.
