Compact Construction Equipment Technician - Southern IL

Responsibilities This position will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned compact construction equipment. Repairs will take place in shop and in field with direction from the CCE Mobile Service Manager. Primary Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment, with emphasis on hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts charged and returned Maintains customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner Ensure equipment and parts areas are in excellent, safe operating condition Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in shop area Maintains equipment and supplies to avoid waste, prevent accidents, and damage to personnel and equipment

Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED 2 years or more of experience with Heavy Equipment or Compact Construction Equipment   Preferred Associates in related technical field (Diesel Technology) 4 years or more experience with Heavy Equipment and Compact Construction Equipment The duties and responsibilities described here are not a comprehensive list, and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
