Director, Business Technology and Security

At Measurabl, the Director, Business Technology and Security is responsible for overseeing the strategy, management, and development of our corporate technology stack supporting the operations of the business and leading our company information security program. We operate in a fully cloud-based technology infrastructure. The role will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution with a focus on achieving stakeholder value.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

IT Systems:

• Build the strategy for our company business operations technology stack that supports Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Finance, Accounting, Business Operations, and more.
• Create and maintain an IT roadmap of projects and enhancements aligned with business outcomes.
• Assist in bringing technology solutions to business problems.
• Build plans and recommendations to support scalability initiatives with technology.
• Function as a strong partner with business leaders to drive outcomes.
• Act as a key infrastructure technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration as they relate to infrastructure.
• Assist with the creation of strong business case artifacts for strategic investment.
• Define system requirements for the implementation of new applications.
• Manage our IT support and help desk functions.
• Oversee our IT Project Management team, leading project implementation.

Information Security:

• Assist with the analyzing current state and desired state of IT compliance and risk management.
• Assist with the creation and refinement of process and governance mechanisms.
• Experience with building IT programs in alignment with SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, CPRA, and GDPR compliance.

Management Responsibility:

• Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Manage the company’s cloud technology budget.
• Assist business leaders with solutioning new technology solutions through the procurement process.
• Create reports on our program to report to our Risk & Compliance Committee and our Board of Directors.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 7+ years of management experience in a highly scalable cloud-based environment
• Knowledge of scaling to IPO, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations
• Proven success building and scaling IT Infrastructure, including progressive hands-on experience in 2 or more areas – cloud platforms, systems, integrations, identity access management, and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in a fully cloud-based corporate technology environment.
• Experience with Salesforce is desired.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks
• Proven experience with process improvement and change management
• Strong technical skills and ability to guide the team in systems design, cross-functional architectural review, performance analysis, emerging technologies evaluations, migrations, etc
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
