Senior Accountant

Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned)

· Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger.

· Reconcile bank, credit card and other billing statements.

· Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and files.

· Assist with the month-end close (adjusting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.)

· Perform monthly account analysis and reconciliations.

· Research and analyze expense variances for company management.

· Assist with the annual audit process including preparing the draft of the financial statements and related notes.

· Assist with establishing, modifying, documenting, and coordinating the implementation of accounting control procedures/processes.

· Assist other departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams”)

 

Requirements (Education, Certifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience in lieu of education

· 3+ years of professional accounting experience including substantial exposure to monthly closing processes,

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.

· An analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Expert spreadsheet abilities

· Knowledge of accounting systems; experience with Sage Intacct a plus

· Ability to work with confidential information with maturity and integrity.

· Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.

This role offers a salary range of $90,000-$100,000 plus an annual bonus of 10%, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k with a company match after 6 months of employment.
