Job Description Summary

The Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Coordinator – Radiology supports the operational delivery of medical student education within the Department of Radiology. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Director of Radiology Education and Director of Radiology UME, including course integration, scheduling, preceptor coordination, student advising support, program management, and Radiology Interest Group (RIG). The position will serve as the primary coordinator for the RAD300 clerkship course while also supporting the Education Classroom operations, Canvas content management, room coordination, compliance reporting, student communication, Radiology electives, and other UME program activities aligned with the School of Medicine.

Job Responsibilities

  • This position requires strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and the ability to coordinate the needs of multiple stakeholders. The position requires intermediate administrative skills and offers structured development within academic program administration.

  • Work schedule is hybrid, typically 2–3 days onsite per week, with variability based on course blocks, teaching schedules and in-person session needs. Occasional early morning or late afternoon sessions may be required during peak teaching periods.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Contingent Upon Grant Funding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 1–2+ years of administrative experience in an academic, clinical, or educational setting and strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities preferred.
  • · Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel/OneDrive/SharePoint, and general office systems preferred.
