This advertisement is for an OPS (Other Personal Services) position located at Central Office in the Central Records Department.

 

Salary: $15.75 Hourly Rate

 

SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer multi-line phone system.
  • Respond to general phone records request.
  • Track written record requests, searches, and subpoenas.
  • Perform document searches in response to written and phone request.
  • Assist the Correctional Service Assistant Consultant with audit of full Penitentiary Packet requested by criminal justice agencies.

  • Life - FDC offers a $25,000 group term life insurance plan to eligible OPS staff through Securian at the low monthly premium of $3.78. When enrolled in basic life, employees may also elect child life and spouse life insurance plans.
  • Retirement - As an OPS employee, the Florida FICA Alternative Plan with Corebridge Financial affords you an excellent opportunity to help accumulate money for a secure retirement. You contribute 7.5% of your compensation to this tax deferred plan. All OPS employees are required to participate in this plan and are automatically enrolled.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or is equivalent.
  • One year of working with Confidential Information.
  • One year of experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • One year of experience working with Records.
