Job Description Summary
Lead team of Commercial Leaders in support of the GVH Installed Base businesses. Accountable for Commercial objectives, including Commitments, Convertible Orders, and Pricing. Responsible to ensure preparation of proposals, contract negotiations, commercial risk assessments, completion of the GVH and GEV governance processes, and hand over contracts to the delivery team. Influences commercial business operating guidelines and has ownership of process improvements with regards to business area. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, markets, sales processes, or customers. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Has ability to attract and retain talent. Communicates complex messages and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
- Support the development of Proposals, Cost Estimates, Pricing Strategies, Terms and Conditions, and Customer Purchase Order reviews
- Be the primary interface with the Global Sales Team on opportunities within the Installed Base businesses (Nuclear Fuels, Services)
- Act as a key component to the cross-functional team consisting of Business Leaders, Project Managers, Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Sourcing, and Account Managers
- Develop review material and position papers regarding fuels and services opportunities for review at Power and GE Corporate level. Work with points of contact at Power and GE Corporate to finalize these documents
- Working with potential partners, develop project delivery models that would be acceptable to both the delivery team and customer
- Own deadlines and drive the process to achieve these dates
- Ensure compliance with the GE commercial risk process by acting as a Subject Matter Expert
- Support achievement of Commercial Team metrics related to the "Inquiry to Order" process
- Drive Problem Solving rigor across the organization and Improve how we run the business through value stream improvements
- Interface with the business Lean Leader to drive consistent process rigor
- Represent Commercial Operations in key meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 10 years of directly related experience including 5 years of experience developing nuclear services contracts
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to other GE Vernova locations, vendors, and customer sites as necessary.
- The preferred work location for this role is at the GVH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.

The base pay range for this position is $170,000-213,900. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 10/10/2025.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
