The Director, Global Sales Administrator establishes and manages the sales process from the beginning when an opportunity is identified through the bidding process and to the final sold or lost stage.  This role is responsible for developing an infrastructure of integrated and non-integrated systems and tools and trains, directs and monitors on the usage of the systems.  This individual will be responsible for working with the team to understand the critical business strategies of our customers monitor all sales activities to identify problems, create solutions and produce accurate reporting.  They will also provide the VP of Sales with insight on progress against goals and projections for commissions.

Additionally, this role is responsible for developing a global “library” of RFP responses that are accurate and customizable to meet each client purchase plan.  The library will also include a variety of sales collateral highlighting the value proposition, proof statements and customer testimonials. 

Lastly, this role will work with finance counterparts to develop predictive costing and pricing tools for each product.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities

  • Create global and regional sales collateral and ensure it is accessible to all team members
  • Create success stories with quantified results to be used in sales process
  • Establish, manage and monitor use of Salesforce and its integration or transition to Cvent when a sale is closed
  • Develop reporting package related to all sales activities
  • Provide training to new members on processes
  • Create global library of RFP responses and ensure all information is updated and accurate as tools and the market evolves
  • Engagement with the Sales Team on qualification of all requests
  • Reponsible for proposal development direct reports (manage workload, processes and training, growth and development)
  • Maintain and manage all agreements such as MSAs, LOWs and SOWs
  • Maintaining knowledge and up to date trends within the industry
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry partners and cultivate new relationships.
  • Attend industry conventions, educational seminars and events, as required
  • Negotiation of hotel, vendor contracts and alliance agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and remain updated on the latest products and services.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of internal operations process and guidelines in supporting sales efforts and deliverables.
  • Ability to provide clear definition of our services, fees, and our internal team structure.

Qualifications

  • Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • 5-7 Years experience in managing sale processes, at an enterprise level
  • This position requires strong people management skills to effectively lead and develop a diverse team.
  • Proven strength in financial expertise from both a costing and pricing perspective
  • Experience in reviewing agreements both contractual and non-legal with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Meetings process and products
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Cvent Technology Platform, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate key details of an issue to drive change.
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract terminology experience.
